Dr. Talin Hovsepian is a Registered Psychological Assistant (PSB 94022311) with Fulton Psychological Group under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Fulton (PSY 14741). She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, Los Angeles with a degree emphasis in Child, Family and Adult.

Dr. Hovsepian’s extensive training and experience has spanned a variety of settings including a community mental health, public school counseling center, neuropsychological testing center and private practice. She has worked with most ages, ranging from early childhood to late adulthood. She does individual, group, couples and family therapy. She works with clients from varying and diverse backgrounds and can conduct therapy in Armenian. She has worked with individuals with a variety of conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, emotional regulation issues, autism, adjustment disorders, loss and grief, substance abuse, eating disorders and relationship issues. Dr. Hovsepian has experience leading a variety of therapeutic groups to help children with self-regulation, social skills and behavioral issues. Her adult groups have focused on chemical dependency as well as mood disorders. Dr. Hovsepian is also experienced in crises management through working on a crises line.

Dr. Hovsepian has a calm demeanor and can stabilize intense situations. She has a calming effect on clients, making them feel at ease in the therapy room. She builds rapport easily with children, making them feel as though they are not in therapy. Her non-intrusive style is disarming and comforting to both children and adults. Dr. Hovsepian is well trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and utilizes evidenced based treatment methods. Because she is a part of the Fulton Group, she is part of a team of professionals and collaborates for the best interest of the client.

In addition to her clinical skills, Dr. Hovsepian is well versed in psychological testing. She has conducted numerous intakes and neuropsychological batteries. She is adept at diagnosing and devising treatment plans for clients.
