Alyse Scarmozzino, Psy.D. is a registered Psychological Assistant (PSB 94022312) with Fulton Psychological Group under the supervision of Dr. Christopher Fulton (Psy14741). Dr. Scarmozzino received her Doctorate degree from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay Area.

Dr. Scarmozzino has received training in child and family guidance centers, outpatient clinics, and public schools. She has worked with diverse populations and clients of varying ages ranging from early childhood to late adulthood. She has utilized different modalities such as individual, group, dyadic, and family therapy. Dr. Scarmozzio has experience treating clients with an array of psychological and emotional issues including: anxiety, depression, developmental delays, relational issues, adjustment disorders, behavioral difficulties, attention problems, and family conflict.

Alyse Scarmozzino’s style is calm, compassionate, and supportive. She is able to build rapport easily with children, making them feel comfortable. She utilizes a reflective and strength based approach to reduce anxiety and build a strong therapeutic alliance. Dr. Scarmozzino utilizes cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and family systems therapy approach. She has extensive training in play therapy with young children as well. Her style, combined with her experiences and training, allow her to successfully work with diverse populations.
