Margeaux Duclos is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT 135960) with Fulton Psychological Group. Margeaux received her Bachelor’s Degree (Dean’s List) at Southern New Hampshire University and her Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marital and Family Therapy from National University.

Margeaux has a wide range of experience working in private practice, public schools, in-patient facilities, crisis intervention agencies, county behavioral health departments and counseling centers. Margeaux has experience treating clients with an array of psychological and emotional issues including: anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, attention problems, developmental issues, trauma, families in conflict and eating disorders. Her background has given her the experience of working with diverse populations including children, teens, adults and families. Ms. Duclos also has a subspecialty working with transgender children and adolescents, helping them through the myriad of feelings while going through the transition. She has utilized different modalities including individual, group and family therapy. Margeaux utilizes cognitive behavioral, dialectic behavioral, mindfulness practices and family systems therapy approach.

Margeaux works from a warm, nurturing and empowering approach making her relatable and disarming to children. Her style, combined with her experiences and training, allow her to successfully work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. She believes that when working with children and teens, parents should be involved in treatment to create more meaningful and sustained change, to enhance growth, and to empower parents. She incorporates behavioral modification techniques with families in an effort to build upon the child's current strengths while providing a motivational tool to help overcome current challenges. She focuses on strengthening the communication among family members to help foster strong relationships as well as personal growth within the individuals of a family. When working with adults, she uses a model that focuses on personal growth while increasing self-awareness, confidence, and personal agency.
