Initial consultation. We review your concerns and the questions you want the evaluation to answer.
Individualized assessment plan. A clinical interview guides selection of tests tailored to the referral question.
Testing and context. Testing may be combined with rating scales, records and information from parents, teachers, physicians or other professionals. Because one testing session cannot always show a person’s full abilities, evaluations may be completed across several sessions, with shorter appointments when needed to obtain a more accurate picture.
Written findings. An integrated report explains results and individualized recommendations.
Feedback and next steps. A feedback meeting explains the findings in clear language and connects them to practical options. Reports are written for the people who will use them and include specific recommendations for treatment, school, accommodations, medication planning or other supports.
Support does not have to end with the report. When useful, evaluators may clarify results, consult with treating professionals, help families connect with educational or medical resources, or participate in school planning and IEP meetings.
